USA stocks exchange present condition

As of January 13, 2025, U.S. stock markets are closed. The most recent trading session on Friday, January 10, 2025, ended with declines across major indices:

S&P 500: The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) closed at $580.49, down 1.55% from the previous close.

Dow Jones Industrial Average: The SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF (DIA) finished at $419.33, a decrease of 1.61%.

Nasdaq 100: The Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) ended at $507.19, falling 1.56%.

These declines were influenced by rising inflation concerns following stronger-than-expected U.S. job growth, which may lead to fewer interest rate cuts from the Federal Reserve.

Additionally, Goldman Sachs has warned that U.S. stocks are "priced for perfection" and could be vulnerable to a correction due to high valuations and market concentration in tech giants.

Investors should monitor upcoming economic data releases and Federal Reserve policy decisions, as these factors are likely to influence market movements in the near term.
